В статье автор представляет разработку урока английского языка по теме «В мире профессий. Давайте помечтаем о будущем».

Цель урока: развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся на основе изученных лексических единиц по теме.
Задачи урока.
Познавательный аспект:
— знакомство с аутентичным языковым материалом «BBC-6 minutes English» Are you following your dreams», авторским видео «Как правильно выбрать профессию».
Образовательные:
1. формировать языковую, речевую и социокультурную компетенции при развитии и контроле сформированности компетенций аудирования, чтения, и говорения;
2. активизировать употребление в речи ранее изученных лексических единиц по теме «В мире профессий. Писатели научной фантастики о будущем».
3. совершенствовать и расширять навыки выражения своего мнения по теме;
Развивающие:
1. развивать функциональную компьютерную грамотность учеников,
2. развивать языковую догадку,
3. развивать критическое мышление учащихся;
Воспитательные:
1. воспитывать у учащихся ценностное отношения к труду,
2. формировать чувство уважения к культуре, как своих соотечественников, так и к мировым достижениям
3. повысить мотивацию к изучению английского языка.
Тип урока: комбинированный урок

Мотивация к учебной деятельности. Подкаст «BBC English» (нарезка).
Hello, students! Take your seats. Hope that you are fine. We`ll begin our lesson with a podcast. Your task will be to listen to a part of the podcast and find out the main idea of it. ( This idea will be the topic of our class).
So, what is this podcast about? What are the key words? Ok, you`ve got it. Today we will discuss «Following Dreams».
Now, you are to listen to another part of the podcast, you will hear a question and 3 possible answers to it. Try to understand the information.
So, what was the question? Did you understand what people were asked this question? Right, the dying patients were. What was the top answer, in your opinion?
(«In 2012, Australian nurse, Bronnie Ware, wrote her bestselling book, The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, after interviewing terminally ill patients about their life regrets. So, what do you think their top regret was? Was it:
