Pride and Prejudice is a well-known novel world widely, which has past more than 120 years since its publication and has been translated into more than 20 versions since its first translation came to China in 1935. This paper chooses 6 representative versions to compare only the translating skills in the “V + DV+ le-1 (了-1)+ O ”. The result, however, will focus on the prosodic equivalence, which is seldom discussed than ever and might name it as Chenyinci (衬音词), for lack of a better terminology in translating, which also means that such a word functions merely on the syllables equivalence, but not the notional equivalence between the source language and target language. Regardless of the non-notional equivalence, there arises of significance in translating field of the prosodic equivalence to be argued as below.
